Welcome to the inaugural Dennistoun Scran blog. Over the course of these 5 blogs, I will be rating places I have been to for food in Dennistoun, pretty self-explanatory. These ratings will primarily be based off the quality of food and dining experience, however if it is a restaurant that only offers take-away, the latter will not factor in to score.
For the first blog post, I have opted to review the Glasgow establishment that is Celinos, an Italian restaurant that offers an authentic and high-quality dining experience. They operate 2 restaurants, one in Dennistoun, on Alexandra Parade with the other located in Partick, on Dumbarton Road.
On the allotted day of me visiting, I made an error in going with a party that included someone with allergies. Never ideal, but the staff were very helpful in guiding them through the menu in what they needed to avoid. That aside, everything was very nice inside and was very inviting.
I opted for the Salsiccia Aurora pasta and butchered the pronunciation of said dish upon asking the waiter for it. When it arrived, the sauce was nice and thick and the sausage had a good bit of spice to it which was nice. This paired with a San Pellegrino 'Limonatta' was quite the combination.
Overall, the dining experience was very pleasant on what was a busy Sunday lunch service. The wait times for the food weren't too long, the staff were very helpful, and the quality of the food was top tier. To conclude, I would recommend to those who have yet to go and are passing through the East End of Glasgow.

best blog I have ever read, emotional read.
